God I love this album,unlike the others this music feels a bit more free.like there was less forced polishing,less overthinking put into it,just pure music. Everytime I listen to this album I get goosebumps.the sounds are just glorious, it’s as if the sounds are moving between the folds of my brain like a stick floating,following the path of a river.

Mt Mountajn, for all of their distinctiveness, still continue to progress and evolve their sound. This is a sinewy, slightly leaner beast than previous releases. The songs are briefer, slightly more melodic; perhaps the influence of Stephen Bailey’s solo explorations? The songs are still iterations of tension and gloom. Mt Mountain have honed their music into a uniquely powerful form of minimalist psychedelic brutalism. Theirs is a menacing, looping drone, always threatening to explode.
