lyrics
Nah I don’t know how to have a good time,
I said I don’t know how to have a good time,
I sit by myself, and I pretend that I’m fine,
Nah I don’t know how to have a good time,
Alright, this is it
Nah I don’t know how to chill and kick back,
I said I don’t know how to chill and kick back,
I can never sit still, I can never relax,
Nah I don’t know how to chill and kick back,
Nah I don’t know how to go on a date,
I said I don’t know how to go on a date,
I try and talk to people, but I can never relate
Nah I don’t know how to go on a date,
Alright, one more
Real cool, really fucking cool
I go out with the boys, and boy I act a fucking fool,
I'm spewing all the diatribe and hate I learned in school
And it’s like ARARARARARARA
Real tight, really fucking tight
I go out with the boys, smashing tinnies, have fights,
I’m spewing in the gutter and I do it every night,
And it’s like ARARARARARARA
Ugh
Well I’m so eloquent
And so complacent too
Oh man I’m working it
And it’s working yeah it’s working
It’s like ugh ugh ugh
Nah I don’t think that I’m that good with kids,
Yeah mate I’m really fucking awful with kids,
They like stupid stuff, and they give me the shits,
Nah I don’t know how to have a good time,
I said I don’t know how to have a good time,
I said I don’t know how to have a good time,
I go out to a bar, and I stand in a line,
I said I don’t know how to have a good time,
Alright, alright
Real cool, really fucking cool
I go out with the boys , and boy I’m breaking all the rules,
I’m hitting on ya misses whilst my mouth is leaking grool
And it’s like ARARARARARARA
Real clean, really fucking clean
And when I talk to you, you know exactly what I mean,
I love a bit of powder mate, I love the Aussie dream
And it’s like ARARARARARARA
UGH

I was on a train travelling to Seefeld in Austria and had nothing but the Alps to look over from the windows. This was a perfect compliment to the environment I was in Robert A Johnson
God I love this album, unlike the others this music feels a bit more free.like there was less forced polishing, less overthinking put into it,just pure music. Everytime I listen to this album I get goosebumps.the sounds are just glorious, it’s as if the sounds are moving between the folds of my brain like a stick floating, following the path of a river. sethalogical
Mt Mountajn, for all of their distinctiveness, still continue to progress and evolve their sound. This is a sinewy, slightly leaner beast than previous releases. The songs are briefer, slightly more melodic; perhaps the influence of Stephen Bailey’s solo explorations?
The songs are still iterations of tension and gloom. Mt Mountain have honed their music into a uniquely powerful form of minimalist psychedelic brutalism. Theirs is a menacing, looping drone, always threatening to explode. Michael Mueller
